Physical Therapy at the Community Care Clinic
Physical therapy uses different exercises and treatments to manage pain or promote healing after an injury or surgery. Your physical therapist will consider your needs and goals while creating your treatment plan.

Who Needs Physical Therapy?
People that can benefit from physical therapy (PT) include patients recovering from an injury or surgery, experiencing chronic pain or stiffness, or who would like to be able to move around more easily.
By gradually adding or increasing the difficulty of exercises chosen by your provider based on your needs and goals, it’s possible to improve your quality of life and get back to doing the things you love.

What Does Physical Therapy Involve?
Most patients who use physical therapy (PT) will do gentle exercises that have been designed to increase mobility and decrease pain. Depending on a patient’s activity level before starting PT, some may find even simple exercises difficult. This is why it’s important to have a trusted physical therapist who can help accommodate any limitations or pain.
PT can also involve other treatments depending on the patient’s needs and goals. Most patients will have exercises to do at home between appointments.
